Ely Cathedral, August 23, Saturday

Ely Cathedral.  We had heard that they had a beautiful cathedral and they were right!  Dan's camera did not do the inside justice!  Sorry, no pictures.  It was by far, one of the most impressive cathedral's that we have seen yet.  They also have Britains largest chapel attached to this cathedral with a statue of Mary dressed in a blue Gown with her arms upraised to the Lord, taking joy in the babe she was to carry.  It was very beautiful.  We ate in a pub across from the cathedral and it was excellent.  I don't think we have eaten in many "not" excellent pubs actually.

Caleb atop a cannon in the Cathedral's front park area.

View of Ely Village.  Nice town/city with a central area for shopping and eating.
