At home in England January

Home once again.  We have been back to the states 3 times in 6 months believe it or not!  Between last summer, and then 2 weeks in October and then 3 weeks in December, we are sick of traveling!  Christmas was nice, not great, as we were all sick in one form or another.  Between the upper chest infections and the stomach flu, seeing our family was hit and miss.  Most of them were also sick and they certainly became sick when they threw caution to the wind and came over to visit with us!  I even had the stomach flu on the day we flew home!  Yuck.  Thankfully Molly came over and just started packing us up.  I don't remember much from that day, even though I thought I was doing so good, between puking, cleaning the bathroom, changing shirts, packing, and then puking again, I was holding my own fairly well.   I don't ever want that to happen again.   It is not good when the "packer" is sick, but it would have been even worse if it had been Dan.  He drove us to the airport and did most of the luggage.   And the luggage....... we left with 5 bags and came home with 8!  Too many gifts and things to bring back.   I don't know about anyone else, but that always happens with us.  We can get so many things here now that we couldn't two years ago, but we still find things to bring back.  So that was our Christmas.  It could have been worse, but it wasn't.  We didn't get to visit with everyone like we would have liked, but that will make the next trip home all that much more memorable.  We will be going home the end of May for my nephew's graduation and of course, my Ben's graduation.   And with that, I leave you tonight.
